I recently moved to Houston from Latin America as a result of a recent promotion. I conducted the majority of my relocation online. That proved disatrous. These are the worst living conditions that I have EVER experienced anywhere. Mind you, I moved from a S. American country and upon returning to the U.S. my standard of living took a drastic turn for the worse. Basic living essentials like a refrigerator were unavailble to me for three weeks after my move in. Rodents eating from grabage left around full dumpsters quickly became common place. Katrina may have hit Louisiana, however the living conditions of this Houston, Texas apartment closely resemble
after-disaster conditions. The Houston Police Department is constantly present as a result of the heavy crime in this complex. Cars are broken into on a routine basis and the management staff prides itself on being ignorant and ineffective. This complex represents the "New America" where customer service no longer exists and being a renter means you have the right to be silent and be treated like a poor immigrant that should not expect more than the bottom of what America has to offer.

Yes I know what you mean about the dumpsters. when i stayed there for three weeks they didnt' clean them out and they were overflowing with trash. finally when my father in law (who is a police officer in round rock) got involved they got cleaned. they are the worst place to live in houston i think.

I have lived here for over 3 years and I must disagree. I have never seen rats around the property or dumpsters. in fact I think the property looks great (as long as other residents don't litter). My requests for work or always done in a timely matter. I have recommended them to my friends and the $300 referral money is great too.

Enclave apartments could be a better place if the owner will decide hiring good people to management the complex. The staff members in the office really are very rude and do not have basic human relations. So, the solution will be change the manager and her staff.
