I was robbed at gunpoint in a home invasion here From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/9/2007 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003   I was robbed at gun point in a home invasion and my best friend was raped in my bedroom by the two assailants while I was tied up in the living room. At gun point they made us give them our pin numbers and the gate code to the complex. After that horrible experience I filed a police report and told management about the incident the very next day. I also told them that I was moving out that day and would not be paying my last months rent and that I expected them to reimburse me for rent that I had just paid. While they did give me back half of the rent for that month, I felt like they gave me the brush off. They wouldn't even change the gate code after I told them the robbers made me give it to them at gun point! I had the police report number and all the contact information they could need and they didn't even seem to care. I almost forgot to mention... also while I was living there, we had a horrible gas leak right by the mail room. It was so bad we couldn't even open our windows because the smell would fill our apartment. It was embarrassing because our friends would always complain about it and after countless formal written complaints from us and our neighbors management continued to ignore the problem. I finally called the gas company myself and had them come check it out. They called me back to thank me for reporting a major gas leak! This was my first apartment and living here was a horrible experience. Management/maintenance was horrible, it was too expensive for what they had to offer, and I later found out (through our neighbor who's a realtor) that they allow convicted felons to live there. Granted it's been almost four years since I've lived there, but I still despise that place and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If I would have known about this site sooner I would have posted this back then. Unfortunately I still live in the area and pass this place all the time, and it still looks as shabby as ever.
