Estates at Memorial Heights

While it is not perfect..it is pretty nice! From: amycakes Date posted: 8/28/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   One of my favorite things about living here is the size and layout of the apartments. I have a two bedroom tow bath and it is by far bigger and better than anything else on the market. The kitchens are charming and open. My master bedroom has an wonderfully huge bathroom with two enormous walk-in closets. The place is very dog friendly and that is a huge plus for me. The grounds are always immaculate despite the many dogs that are about.. What I really love about The Estates is that I have practically furnished my apartment from other peoples cast-offs. Sunday evenings are great for finding treasures. You cannot imagine what people throw out around here!!! Yesterday I carted off a beautiful and very expensive, extremely ornate glass and forged metal shelf unit for my bathroom. I also wrangled two stunning mosaic top side tables. Unfortunately some neighbors beat me to the lovely brass lamp, vintage radio and the margarita glasses. The downside of living here is that the pool is always crowed with college kids and their friends on the weekends. The forth of July was downright scary. I t was party central Texas style. Although I feel very safe here.. Management should definitely hire a safety officer to patrol at night as a courtesy to the residents. My cars have never been broken into but then again they are 5 years old. On a scale of 1-10 I would give The Estates a solid 8.
