A fixer upper Apartment Complex

I have lived here for 2 years now. We have gone through 4 different apartment managers. The new name of the apartment is now Evergreen Pointe Apartments.

We have had constant problems with the foundation, which has never been repaired since we have lived here. Cracks in the walls, holes in the floor, walking downhill in your apartment to the window, putting your bed on stilts to help level your bed so you dont feel like your are falling out of bed and having to bolt things down so they dont fall on your children or fall out the window. The sidewalks are generally a mess all the time and needs major repair. Every time it rains you end up going through a lot of water puddles to get to your car. Therefore, you end up getting wet in some fashion.

The front and back gates are constantly broken or in need of repair. The hot water is constantly being worked on and half the time we dont have hot water during the day time or sometimes in the evening.

The parking lot is full of potholes and always full of water when it rains.

The new playground is full of rocks which now has all sorts of trash. Unfortunately, I do not feel safe to take my children to the playground downstairs.

I like some of my neighbors, but this place is falling apart and they are not repairing the apartment complex. As of today, they have informed us that they are going to start splitting the water bill among the renters. This is unfair, due to the fact that some of us do not use much water..

The electricity bill started out pretty reasonable, but after awhile the bill started going through the roof. I complained about my outrageous electric bill and they informed me there was nothing they could do that they had already put in a ton of insulation and that there was no room to put in any more to keep the apartment cool.

The electricity in our apartment has problems also. It seems that when we run an appliance on one side of the apartment it blows the breaker. Unfortunately, the breaker box is not inside the apartment, but outside.

We will be moving due to the new water addendum, the faulty wiring, electricity bills, foundation problems, etc.

I would not refer this apartment complex to any of my friends or family.
