Looks aren not deceiving...the cracked pavement, sunken concrete & paver bricks, and faded parking lines say it all. The place is kept in very poor condition. I'm a clean, well-spoken and well-dressed college student and management STILL treats me like I'm a mall rat.
I have been living here since Dec. 1, 2006 to the present. Just last week, I got a 2nd request notice on my door for a past-due amount--and that was impossible because 1)I never received a 1st request and 2)I have always paid my rent and water in-full at least a week in advance to when it was due. I wrote the complex a very detailed letter with six attached pages of check stubs and bank statements supporting this, and after I handed it off to the managers...nothing. I didn't hear anything from them for two days.
I then went to the office, and at the time, there was three people in the room. But as soon as I asked to speak to the manager--NO JOKE--there was all of a sudden five women in the room ALL staring at me and one lady in my face demanding to know, "What do you need''" I firmly explained how I had just turned in a letter of dispute(to her!)about a past-due notice and was wondering what came of it, and all she said AS SHE TURNED AROUND TO WALK-AWAY was, "It wasn't supposed to go to you." Thanks for the customer service since I'm a PAYING RESIDENT OF YOUR COMPLEX.
I had been completely disgraced with this place within the first month of moving in. But I had already signed a one year lease and I was getting a pretty big space for cheap. Now I know why it was so cheap.
PLEASE, SPARE YOURSELF.
By the way, is it illegal (or what not) to go up to someone who's looking at the complex with the leasing agents and outright tell them not to move here' I know management will be enraged that I'm chasing away business, but can I really be penalized for it' What if I make a posterboard saying "WARNING: DO NOT MOVE HERE (look elsewhere)" and hung it on the entrance gate.....'''
I despise this place if you couldn't tell. Management is so disrespectful and careless. The actual maintanence guy is really nice, but my maintenance is not getting done because management won't tell him that I need something done when I request it in-office (they still haven't trimmed back the tree branches that are scraping against the 2nd-story windows and gutter!).

Im surprised at the response you recieved from management. I have lived here for years and the management staff has always been friendly. People do make mistakes, no one is perfect. I see that they did fix the front entry where and Im told that the rest of the parking area wil be fixed soon. The property looks very nice and doubt that by you placing a poster stating "do not move here" will detour anyone from this property. I hope your experience gets better.

well, I'm young in age and I look even younger. I did go in last week and speak with Jeanette directly and I told her everything that I was displeased with--about how the staff isn't friendly and how they don't take me seriously because I'm young and about the response I got with the notices and about how maintenance issues are not getting done (I did specifically mention the branches not being cut-back among other things). However, I still have a bad taste in my mouth due to my personal experiences and anything else that goes wrong will only fuel my fire. I'm glad to know that you are content with your situation.
