Current resident; been there about 3 months. We're temporarily in apartments, between houses (sale, escrow, etc.). The apartment is adequate and reasonably cheap for the sf, but there are issues. We've not had the maintenance issues other reviewers have. We have had problems, but the maintenance staff have been *reasonably* good. Inside it's fair but nothing special - clean but very old carpet, very narrow kitchen, obvious signs of repairs, etc. Also, when I reserved the apt the staff told me they'd be putting in new carpet before we moved in. That didn't happen, and they played dumb about their earlier statement. Since we're not staying long, we didn't fight it. The apt does have washer/dryer hookups, but only electric (we have a gas dryer), so we use the on-site facilities. They're expensive and often have issues, but they're also maintained by a separate company. Parking is problematic. There are plenty of spaces, and the ones close to the apartments are covered. However, the poles holding these up are in your blind spot when parked, and they severely limit width. Care is needed to keep from scraping the side of the vehicle. One good point is that they will (on request) add an early-termination clause to the lease - 60 days' notice, fully paid, covers it. Freeway access is also very good, though the gate access cards are virtually useless (access codes are easier - my card works at one gate but not the other).
