I moved in Fondren Court apartments in April of 2005. I was 9 months pregnant when I Moved to Fondren Court.The carpet was so nasty from the first tenants that lived there before I moved in, I went in the kitchen and switched the lights on and roaches came from every direction. There were so many roaches in the refrigerator I ran out of the apartment. The a/c had a leak and it mildewed everything in my closet. The tub in my bathroom is rusted with mildew. The plaster is falling of of the walls. My sister moved in around the corner from me and her apartment was burglarized not to long after she moved in. Her kitchen had a horrible smell to it because her garbage disposal had broke and the management wouldn't come fix it. The kitchen was swarmped with gnats. There were so many gang fights infront of my apartment I feared for my life so I don't go outside. The police stayed over here but they were just as bad as the gangs. Every other day the police were over here pulling ther shot guns out. Everyday there were fights. A 11 year old girl that stayed a couple apartments down from was shot, I witnessed that with my own eyes. My upstairs neighbors were playing with a gun and the bullet shot thru the floor of their apartment, luckily no one was hurt. The management is a mess. The never fixes anything and I believe every apartment in Fonden Court is infested with roaches. Everything i have wrote is the truth and I wouldn't recommend anyone to move to Fondren Court Apartments.
