Run Away!!!!

We moved here from TN in August 2005. People were friendly, Elizabeth in the office was extremely nice, haven't seen her in a while, I think they fired the only nice person. Then we moved in.

About 2 months later my wife's car was broken into. The cop said it was probably some kids and that it happens all the time. The "security" gates have not worked since December. Parking is atrocious and with no security entrance, anyone can come in and park anywhere they choose. I wish they had parking permits and then enforced them.

The pool has only been open about half of the summer. But it's sort of understandable because it's not uncommon to see all of the pool furniture thrown into the pool when you leave in the morning. There were about 3 weeks this summer when it was never cleaned so it took on this lovely green color and of course attracted many mosquitoes.

The "exercise" room contains equipment that doesn't work. They recently put another leasing office next to the exercise room, but no one is ever there. So, it's useless.

The office staff is not accomodating. There is no communication between them and the residents. Many times I wake up only to find out that the water has been turned off. I understand that they need to repair leaks, but why can't they just call us to let us know to jump in the shower now, because in a hour we won't have water for several hours. We also did without hot water for about 4 days. It wouldn't have been so bad if each of those days we had not been promised that it would be turned back on that day. The office tends to lie, a lot.

Most residents are friendly. However, there's not a wide respect for the property. But since the ownership doesn't either, can you fault them' I often find broken beer bottles on the sidewalks around the pool and the pool furniture, as I said, oftentimes ends up in the pool. Many residents can't seem to put their trash inside the dumpster, but leave it on the ground around it. Also, many residents here appear to be insomniacs who are hearing impaired as they have to play music from their cars at an extremely loud level at 3 a.m.

I cannot recommend Forrester Apartments.
