the office staff seemed nice at first, but once you sign the lease, they start becoming unresponsive and rude. we moved in in february and we are happy to leave. we had initially signed a one year lease, and we checked to make sure that it said one year. we lost our copy and asked for another one, but when we read through it again, they had changed stuff on our lease and changed our lease to a six month lease.

all of the cabinets are made out of particle board and the drawers tend to come out of the tracks a lot. when we first tried to move our stuff in, we opened the door to find the apartment filthy. no one had come by to clean it and there was trash everywhere from the previous owners. the bathtub was also rusty and it felt like you might fall through it. the electricty and outlets are all rigged. some of the outlets don't even work. the a/c never worked, it had been leaking since we moved in and constantly froze over. our garbage disposal also didn't work and started leaking all over the floor. there were holes in the carpet and all they did was pull a small patch of carpet over it. the carpet was also very old and was a hideous blue color. the apartment was also moldy (probably flooded during Allison) and always had a musty smell to it that you can't get rid of. we could also hear the people walking in the apartment above us. it sounded like they were going to come through the cieling. there is never any parking. the office people kept promising us that they would get the gate fixed and they never did.people who didnt live there would take up the limited parking space that there was.

also, people would drink and party right outside and smoke weed out in the open. me and my husband had went to grocery store one time, and when we had come back, a guy had his truck stolen.

maintenance people do not speak english! they barge in whenever they want to. one maintenance guy barged in while i was taking a shower!!! I DONT TRUST THOSE GUYS WITH KEYS TO RESIDENT'S APARTMENTS. it's nearly impossible to communicate with them if you dont speak spanish. we always had problems with our a/c and THEY ALSO CHARGE FOR MAINTENANCE. TWENTY DOLLARS, IN FACT. AND THEY SCREW YOU OVER, BECAUSE THEY NEVER FIX THE PROBLEM, THEY JUST RIG EVERYTHING. we also kept calling them to fix our a/c and they never came! 3 weeks after we had called, we came home and noticed our stuff had been moved around, aparently a maintenance guy came in while we were gone, but didnt even fix the problem!

there's always all kind of leaks in the ceiling, and also when we moved in, there was a dead cat on our porch! i absolutely did not feel safe here! SOMEONE ALSO TRIED BREAKING INTO OUR APARTMENT, OUR LOCK WAS ALMOST COMPLETELY TAKEN OFF!!! i could write a whole book of complaints on this apartment complex
