I lived there for 3 years. I saw many managers come and go, I would say about 4-5 in the 3 yrs I lived there. There was 1 cool one, in 2001-02, since then, they have all been a bunch of ------- that were very hard to deal with, especially the chick from India. It seems every time they get a new sherriff in the front office they seem to be on a rampage about, changing the gate code, or the trash being left out, or the pet ----, or raising the rent. They all have had their little battles that are their pet pieves that they try to fix, but to no avail, most didn't work. It's not too cool when they change the gate code on you when you have been out of town on business, and they don't tell you. Makes it tough to get into the complex in the middle of the night, after a long trip. I liked living there because it was close to the the galleria, bars, clubs, ect... It was pretty reasonably priced, but it is an older complex not built too well and and kinda dumpy. I would say that some of the walls are not too plum, if ya know what I mean. I had many issues with the A/C, bugs, noise, crime, laundry room problems, vandals, and riff raff that came and went. The kids running around without much supervision, making all kinds of noise. The thing I hated the most was the landscaping companies they use. Those guys would be in there running blowers, mowers and weed eaters at 7am, making all sorts of noise, waking me up. Why couldn't they come after 9am, during normal working hours for most people' At night you hear the sirens of the fire station on chimney rock, police sirens, even the ghetto bird(police chopper)doin circles around the area a few times, at all hours of the night. You will also hear the loud live music from the local establishments along FountainView and as far away as Richmond. There were people getting robbed in the parking lot of this wonderfully GATED community, even one time at gunpoint. The lesbians having a knock down dragout fight in the parking lot. That was pretty funny! But it did wake me up from a drunken sleep, on a Sunday morning. Cars getting broken into, the laundry room door never staying shut and getting slammed all hours of the day and night. The laundry room being vandalized, they had to take the soda machine out of there. The laundry room not being opened at the appropriate time as listed on the sign outside the laundry room. When it says 6am, open the dam thing at 6am, some of us do laundry that early in the morning, because we have to. The pool was closed for long periods of time. I saw it green on many occasion. There were a cast of characters that lived in this complex when I lived there. It made for some interesting stories. Some would call us all riff raff, but they were generally nice people, if you took the time to get to know them. Who knows they may have called me the riff raff. I know there were some illeagal activities being conducted within the grounds of this complex, by some of the tenants, but I think most of those people moved out before I did. I lived there, and lived to tell about it, I dealt with the bad stuff, made observations, minded my own business, and most of all I had fun living there.
