Unfortunately, the comments on this site are true! I live here and I do not feel safe! We are constantly recieving memos in our boxes regarding the crime in the area. I guess this is a nice gesture from the staff, however the lack of security, poor lighting, and NO CAMERAS in the parking garage is a easy target for crime!! I guess I am a little bias because I came from The Lofts on Post Oak where none of this was an issue! I would strongly recommend that you move elsewhere.

As the property manager I would like to respond to some of the commments made in this repsonse. Crime does not have an address and it would not be a good idea to judge your decision based off some of these responses as your best option to know about crime is to go to the HPD website where there are facts about it and where it occurs. You can look it up by address here and it will tell you how often and what occured. I can honestly say that our crime has not been any different than the surrounding and comparable properties in this Galleria area. I have been in this industry for almost 7 years and have never been at a property that has not had any crime. It happens everywhere everyday. As far as the cameras, we do have one at the entrance gate and some for the office, but even with that there it does not always provide any proof as you should know in watching the news. I would have to say our garages and buildings are very well lit at night and should a light go out we do repair it quickly.

Whatever...I am glad to hear that the office staff is safe with cameras, but what about the safety of the residents? As a resident, I do feel that the parking garages are not well lit, but I guess that does not matter. Also, if we had consistent security guards on the premises at all times, then maybe residents would not feel so unsafe.

The crime area is expected everywhere-true! However, you don't expect the crime rate to be this high in this community! NO excuses, maybe the manager needs to go!
