Should you feel this strong about soliciting why have you not reported it or called the police as that is what you should do in any suspicious situation. As you should know, no one can guarantee your security but yourself and the local law enforcement.

I understand that "no one can guarantee your safety" however, maybe...if we had consistent security guard(s) on the premises at all times, (at the front gate and walking the complex) then these solicitors would not be walking the apartment complex at all. Maybe now that you have heard many negative responses on this site, the apartment complex will make some changes to satisfy the concerns of their residents.
