I have lived at Gables Augusta for about a month.
The parking garage has been ok except for the number of visitor spots and poor lighting. Don't expect to have any visitors over unless they walk or you drive them. I think there are about ten visitor parking spaces scattered throughout the garage, and about eight or nine of those are used by residents for parking their second vehicles. It is very frustrating for guests to park. I've never seen the parking garage security guard actually patrol the facility, he always sits out front talking on a cell phone.
During my Friday move-in there was dog excrement in the breezeway near my door that remained there until Monday. It was humiliating to have that there when friends came over. There is often something nasty in the breezeway between the garage and my apartment. You would expect them to take care of the property on the weekends but it seems they don't.
My apartment unit has been fine so far. It is exactly as the model I was shown, and appears to be freshly painted. The gym is nice and not crowded. The girl that showed me the apartment and wrote my lease was accomodating. I am content aside from the garage situation and filth in the breezeways.
