If you do decide to lease at Gables Augusta, please make sure you walk through the property first. There's a reason why the model is right across the hall from the leasing office & the agents don't show you anything inside the property: the grounds are badly maintained. I wanted to lease a one bedroom, and after seeing the model, I immediately fell in love with it. The agent told me that there will be a unit on the fourth floor available for me, but didn't offer to show it to me, since there's people living there still. I decided to walk to it by myself, just to see the surroundings, and oh the horror! The hallways are enclosed by a large pane of glass windows, and my are they dirty! A thick thick layer of dust with "xxx was here" written all over. I have no idea why they wouldn't just get the maintenance people to wipe them down. They really make the complex look trashy. Parking is also an issue, if you have two cars for a one bedroom, you're going to have difficulties finding parking (leasing agent said it herself). Of course, if you don't care about the dirt or finding parking, this should be a great place for you, but I deceided not to lease, simply because there's other properties that are better maintained for the price ($975 for a 1 bedroom).
