You call this a city ? Well, this neighborhood has gone to the dogs. Neighbors have shaved heads and tattoos, or don't speak english,
or look like gangstas. Where did all the business people go ?
Well, they all moved inside the Loop 610 where the rent is a little
higher. I am transferring to Gables Upper Kirby this week.
Gables Augusta has too many grotesque residents for me to deal with.
One ------- American came flying through the wrong gate in his jeep
and nearly killed me ! When confronted, he wanted to fight.
I can't be around people like that. I'd rather put up with
the artsy fartsy people downtown... at least they don't carry guns.

The staff will be very helpful until you have a real complaint and then you'll wonder what happened. I complained about someone waking me up around 2AM every single night, but they weren't interested in enforcing the quiet enjoyment clause in the lease. I doubt they would enforce anything because they are a REIT and just want to fill the property and collect the rent. The kind of tenants the previous responder (and the other reviewers) described know this and take advantage of it.
