Everyone here was so nice...I should say 'tricked me into a false sense of security.'

DO NOT BELIEVE A SINGLE WORD THEY SAY!

I rented for one year...my agent was so sweet, agreeing that my one lone year in Houston would be well-spent with Gables.

Well, not only is THE TURNOVER RATE VERY HIGH for employees there (so my sweet agent was gone), but due to their loss of a very important paper, I was forced to pay several month's rent, during which time I was completely moved out. The apartment was presumably rented to somebody else.

They charged me for basic cleanup (which I was told was not going to be charged) and was held responsible for THOUSANDS of dollars which I didn't expect to pay. Of course, the sweet and personal business became an impersonal, deflected responsibility corporation, similar to those calls you make to phone/cable companies...except this time I felt double-crossed...

I have to rate it all bad so you understand: "DO NOT RENT FROM GABLES/CITYWALK!!!!" g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

As a long term resident I know that they have not had that high of a turnover rate, in fact the movement of employees is mainly to their other communities (as promotions, etc). They have had the same leasing agent for over a year and yes some leave at times, but no more than in any other management companies. In fact, Gables has "many" associates that have been with the company for over 5 years or more. I have been to several different communities and seen familiar faces from the properties of theirs that I have lived at. It's actually a nice feeling to transfer to a familiar face. As for "tricking" you it seems you may not read the lease thoroughly. It is stated in black and white what is required of you when you move.....enough said.

this is typical of gables they screw you when they can and the above is yet another management response. Why not formerly join this site instead of posting fake responses. Fine print and high pressured sales is typical of your company.
