I love my apartment, I love the grounds, and could live there for many more years if my rent was not being raised about $150 when my lease is up. I have to say that the "management" team is a joke but it's that way at almost all of the 10 or so apartments I have lived at in my lifetime. The parking does suck, but get over it... a little walking never hurt anyone. And for someone saying that the apartments never sent out information about towing cars, that is a bold faced lie, I got 3 notices on my door and one on my car before they started enforcing the parking stickers. As for someone saying the pool is a "cestpool" I have to say that in the two and a half years I have lived there, I only once saw the pool in poor shape, and that was after a storm. Be cautious of Gables Apartments in general though, I have lived in a few, and they always find a way to squeeze a few more dollars out of you. A word to the wise also, make sure when you move out that you do an inspeciton of the apartment with the manager or representative. Take pictures if you can and have a signed copy of your moveout checklist. Other than the company problems.. I really liked my apartment and the time I spent living here very much. Hope this helps.
