Obamas' Do you mean to tell me that there is a parade of Harvard-educated, tall, handsome, athletic guys coming through here and I missed them' All I see are baggy-drawered yahoos in stupid oversized vehicles that take up one and a half parking spaces. I assume the size of their vehicles is compensation for other things being undersized.

Anyway, about the apartments. Mine is quiet (but I'm on the top floor) and the a/c works just fine. No problems with management but then again I pay my bills before due.

Biggest complaint is the parking/gate situation. Yes, people lurk by the gate to tailgate in. I'm tempted to stop just inside and let them stew but am afraid they'd do something to my car when they do get in. Too many non-residents take the spaces for residents when there's plenty of guest parking.

Rental life is what it is so there's a higher percentage of immature types than I'd prefer, partying on weekends or whenever and not realizing they should keep quiet in the public areas. Running the ceiling fan generally takes care of that.

The cabinets in the kitchen and bath are in poor shape. I hope they don't try to ding me with that when I move since they are that way when I moved in.

Great size apartments, landscaping is nice, usually quiet enough. People are not noticeably friendly, but I've noticed that so-called Texan hospitality is a myth anyway.

It would be nice if there were more dumpsters or they were cleared more frequently. By Sunday night the area is disgusting because nothing more will fit into the trash so everything is left out until early Monday.

Also, people should not put their trash outside their doors for more than a short period. I saw a squirrel on the third floor enjoying a corn cob out of someone's garbage left out. Cute, but not a good idea.

You must be used to live in slums to think this is a great place to live. Agreed on the oversized SUV owners who ruined the paint on my new car
