Air Conditioner Problems From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/8/2008 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008   I called early this morning about my air conditioner not cooling. I was told it was fixed. It felt cooler for a few hours now it is boiling in here. 90degrees in my aparment. My electric bill is $245. this month which is insane for a 1 bedroom apartment. I can't even find the answering service. No one is answering the phone so that I can report this problem. I also have to check the vent for my dryer every day. Birds build their nest and will prevent my laundry from getting dry. I once found a nest that was 3 feet long that continued from the vent into the entire tube of my my dryer. If you rent here check all of your plug outlets. They tend to go out especially in the kitchen. The plug for my refrigerator went out. All the contents in the refrigerator had to be thrown out.
