I lived here for 5 years, and I thought it was a great place to rent in Houston for those who need to be close to the med center.
Of course you pay more for this advantage.
Like all apt.
complexes within the loop, crime does exist.
Pros:
great apartment design- many windows, unique design
5 day grace period on getting rent in!
beautiful landscaping
smaller community- many families
quiet
responsive maintenance/staff
nice pool area
great cardio equipment in gym
garage is very convenient to park in
well lit apartment buildings
Cons:
expensive
did away with security guard years ago
not immune from typical Houston car vandalism and theft
don't live near a trash bin- can be noisy
not a great pet policy
Overall, I recommend this complex.
They also have a "Cares" team that organizes events for residents which is a nice touch- and sometimes they give breakfast at the gate in the morning.
