I lived at Greenbriar last year. At first the management seemed really rude, but they got better after a while.

Greenbriar is very strict about paying rent on time and about their 60 day notice before you move out. Utility costs depend on how much you use your appliances.

The maintenance guy is pretty good. Anytime we had a problem, they usually had it fixed within 2 days. They also pick up garbage on Mon, Wed, and Fri.

Parking is okay. Past 9:00 pm it'd be hard to find parking in front of the apartments so we'd have to park in the garage, which is just a few minutes walk. There is covered, assigned parking though that costs $40 extra per month. The gate is stupid though. It stays open for like 5 minutes, so you'll normally have all these cars entering at one, or cars lined up waiting for someone to open the gate.

The complex is pretty safe. Lots of families with little children, students, and nurses. They will have little events like, free breakfast or community get togethers.

The inside of the apartments is also pretty nice. Very spacious, washer/dryer, fridge, dishwasher, oven, garden tubs. Very large mirrors, huge closet. Patio. Built in bookshelves. Nice windows for natural light.

Sometimes I would leave my window open while I went to school and nothing ever happened. In the mornings though, you'll probably be woken up by the loud leaf blower.

Overall, I liked living there a lot. However, it's probably going to be a bit pricey if you're a student looking for a 1 br there.

They also offer student discounts but only if you take out a year lease. Be careful not to break your lease because they will fine you and charge you all this extra stuff like crazy.
