When you spend the money on living in really nice looking apartments you kind of have expectations.
so I moved into the Greenbriar and was poorly disappointed.
the first unit I stayed in, the microwave fan wouldn't shut off so I had to unplug it after I finished using it.
And everytime the ac kicked on it made some weird whistling sound inside the walls of the bedroom of course.
Unless you live near the garage don't expect to have parking after 6pm and if you live in the front of the apartments like me you have nice treck from the parking garage to your home.
This is due to half the parking spaces being reserved upon which asking for one of these precious parking spots you're put on the waiting list and never contacted again about it.
There are alot of nice cars in this complex and hence alot of breakins and tires being stolen and left on blocks.
There are cameras in the garage but the theives know to turn them away.
I don't know if there are alot of apartment breakins because the apartment mangers dont send out notices when a crime has occured.
So alot of residents live in ignorant bliss until something happens to them or their valuables.
So in a nutshell you might as well save your money and live somewhere cheap so when things don't work and are never fixed or you come out to see your car on blocks you arent really that surprised.

Crime stats for this area of Houston:

Oddly enough, Greenbriar St. (where the complex is located) is mentioned nowhere on there...
