I put in my 60 days notice, however they claimed they never received it, but they got the money for my last month's rent. Because of my name they thought i was of hispanic origin but when they saw the color of my skin they're whole customer service "etiquette" flew out the window. They were extremely rude and useless!

Give them a copy in person, have them sign and date it and keep a copy for yourself for your records or send a certified mail. That way you are alerted by mail that they recieved it. Contact the HAA at 713-595-0300 if u need to. I like the management here but there are times when seem uncaring.. . .

I have lived here @ GHPA for eight years and my lease ends in July. I can't wait. You say they are uncaring. That is an understatement. They do not care at all. What do mean they only cater to the ---------. I am hispanic and let me tell you we went without hot water for three months this winter. We finally did have to send a 3 page complaint and log of the incident to get it fixed. If you need to get anything dont wait to get in done right. Put every in writing. Get it notarized and send it certified mail. I would also hand deliver the notarized copy and have them sign it. The only way you have rights to do anything is with that ceritified letter. Good luck. My luck will get better when we're gone!
