Sadly we had only just signed the lease when we decided not to renew. Our problems initially stemmed from the fact that the only cable Greenwood offers is through TV Maxx which is an overpriced and unreliable cable company. We decided to put down the required $300 damage deposit to in order to get satellite instead. One business day after handing management the check we had the installers come out, and they informed us we were not candidates for satellite because we did not have a clear view of the southern sky. Needless to say we were irked and then down right pissed when Greenwood refused to refund our deposit until we moved out even though we were unable to install satellite. They said nothing like this had ever occured before and it was our responsibility to somehow know that. I contacted the satellite company who informed us this was the 3rd time that month they were unable to install at Greenwood. Maybe they were within their right to withold the deposit but it ended up costing them a very good tenant. We turned in our notice not to renew our lease the next day.
