I have lived at Greenwood Forest for over 4 years now and the majority of the time we have had the same manager (Staci) and as I read these it seems that most of the reviews are not directed towards the apt. complex but towards her personally. I thought this was a site to visit to review the apts. Yes, I agree that there is a change in the resident profile but how is that managements fault has anyone considered that the 1960/Champions area has changed over the years. I have to disagree with the comments that Staci does nothing about the enforcement of the trash or rules because monthly I receive a newsletter that she writes and she is constently reminding us of the policies and I know I have personally gotten violation letters and so have some of my neighbors. Yeah, parking is a hassle but a lot of people live here and we have a lot of trees so not a whole lot of open concrete. Maint. normally respond within 2 days to my requests so I have no complaints I like the fact that all the maint. staff have been here for along time it makes me feel comfortable knowing who is going in to my home.

You know nothing. The staff makes the apartments. Staci does nothing but say of sorry for the inconvenience. Then one month she posts one thing, the next she posts the opposite. Her biggest worry is about the school kids getting a cheep cookie. As for how long the staff has been in, well you know nothing on that either. 2 years ago they did a complete staff change, 6 months after that they did another. After that I saw several office people come and leave. One even took the items that were turned in lost. I know because I turned in a ring and 2 hours when the owner went to get it, it was gone. I have had several problems with the apartment and when i called it in no one came by. Several times it took 3 or 4 times for them to come fix the broken stuff. That is if they ever showed up at all. Also when we looked at the apartments I asked how much the electric bills were. They never gave me a straight answer. Well My electric bill ranged from 200 during the winter and 350 at the peak on summer. The Ac never worked right. From 10 am till 7 pm the ac would run all day and never got below 80. They came by 3 times and could never fix it. After that they stopped coming by. I have lived in several apartments in my lifetime, but I have never lived in such a horrible apartment complex. Also the security gates are always open during the day and half of the time at night too. I asked why they don't keep them shut and they said that they do not keep out the bad guys. That the gates only slow down the people getting in. Well I have lived there for 1 and a half years and there was at least 3 cars stolen, several broken into, and at least 5 apartments broken into. Most of this happened during the day when the gates were opened. I have even see people sleep in the work out room overnight several times. And from the way they were dressed they were homeless. The only time I felt safe was when I was not there. So if you want your stuff broken into, super high electric bills, broken AC, rude staff that also steals then this is the place for you. Other wise run the other way fast and don't look back.

Just moved in these apartments in Oct. I can admit that the management staff is a little wishy washy. Somethings that seem simple maintaince will come quickly to fix but other major issues they either don't show up or take a long time coming to fix i.e our dryer for example which takes about 2-3 drys to dry our clothes (and no we are not putting to many items in the dryer). I think the staff is only nice when they want to be and there is no issues. I was a little upset about getting a light bill from the complex b/c we used their electricity for a few days when we moved in but they didn't give us the bill until 2 months later which set us behind with our other house hold bills. Otherwise I have no major issues with the apartment complex. I live towards the back and my patio is by the pool and its always usually quiet around my apartment except sometimes on the weekends during the day when the kids are out but who can complain about children playing during the day (that doesn't really bother me). I have yet to see or hear about any break ins other than on this site. I like my apartment but of course there are some changes that need to be made as far as customer service goes. Why complain all apartment have rude staff so it won't be any different anywhere else. As far as the gates go they do seem to be open alot lately and that is a call for concern for me.

Completely untrue Review Staci probably wrote this herself to make herself look good thats how low she would probably go. I wouldnt put anything past her. Your right when you say the area has changed but that does not mean managment should be rude or unprofessional.

Staci can be pretty rude..and the quality of the aprtments has really gone down..I moved into Greenwood Forest in 2005. It was a lot nicer at that time.
