My wife and I lived here for a year after living in the Shenandoah Park Drive Apartments over by Hooters in The Woodlands right off of I-45 North. We moved here because we needed more space. The apartment we had was excellent. The workout facility was nice..whenever there weren't teenagers hang'n out in there smoke'n and make'n out! The pool was awesome..great for entertaining friends and family. The major problems with this apartment complex lie within the Managerial Staff in the main office and the cleaning and maintenance staff. The ladies in the main office were continually never showing up to work on time. This grew more and more of a pain in the butt as sometimes you would schedual your day around meeting them and they would either take really long lunch breaks and disappear for hours leaving you thinking that they may be back in a half hour or so...but never would show. They would show up to the office in the morning an hour late...if you are waiting for them it was a major pain in the butt. Then the office closes at a certain time...they would cut out of there an hour or half hour early leaving you in the dust. But the biggest problem...that was the dishonesty of the managerial staff and the maintenance staff. When we left after our 12 month lease...we didn't have time to do the final walk-thru. So after my wife and I spent hours cleaning our apartment from top to bottom...and keep in mind..we are very neat and clean people, never had a late rent payment in 12 months and never created caos or noise...they billed us for four hours of cleaning. I asked them what for..the place was clean from top to bottom, we never had pets, and the bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms were left in immaculant condition....yet...maintenance said it took them four hours to clean our apartment. I said that that was a bunch of BS and that was impossible. I asked them for some written proof of what happened in the apartment and what they cleaned or/ if I could talk to the person that was in there for hour hours. They couldn't get ahold of the person that cleaned it, they wouldn't give me any more information about it. All they did was demand between 300 and 400 bucks for the cleaning. End of story...great apartments...the the staff there will make your stay a living hell. Trust me..there are much nicer apartments for cheaper if you just look a little bit more. And don't even get me started on the parking there. Try coming home from work every day at 6:30pm and having to park about 200 yards away from your apartment because they let three families move into one apartment and they have 6 cars and...well..let's just say...FINDING A PARKING SPOT WHEN YOU GET HOME FROM WORK IS LIKE TRYING TO GET INTO WALMART TO SHOP AND CHECK OUT IN FIVE MINUTES...IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN BABY!!!

The problem is that too many people live in the same apartment and as you said, they take the parking places which they shouldn't since there are supposed to be only 2 parking spaces per unit and if there are more cars, they should park in the unmarked spaces but, these people keep on breaking the rules just as coming in the complex and cutting across instead of going around as the sign says, sometimes missing cars going out by only inches and one of these days, CRASH!!!. Boom boxes are back and so is the trash on the ground and by the mail boxes. There should also be spot checks to see how many people are actually living in a unit and if there are more than supposed to, FINE THEM AND DO NOT RENEW THEIR LEASE!! Pick up after your pet, don't leave the waste there... you know who you are!. THERE ARE STUPID,TRASHY MORONS LIVING AMONGST US AND YES, SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS AND SOON!!!!!!!.

I could not agree more in regards to the parking. Cars stay stored in parking spaces not parked there. And yes, I have seen more than five people living in a one bedroom apartment. The real estate commission has strong restrictions against this. The same vehicles always park in the visitor spaces (these are stored in the spaces) so when my friends come to visit they cannot find a parking space.
Maybe they will learn from their mistakes but if they don't (especially with the economy the way it is) they will end up losing good tenants!!
Good luck in your new apartment!

Don't even get me started on the fact that visitors and relatives who don't have a key card to the electric fence that lets you in the facility just sitting there waiting for a friend or family memeber to come down and let them in cause they have no idea what the hell they are doing!!!!
