Crime and hoodlums-- run!!

I have lived in the complex for about a year and a half and have seen the place take a nose dive. There is a ton of crime there (a stabbing, a shooting, auto thefts, burglaries, mail theft-- 3 times), and management, though understanding, seems helpless to do much about it. Most of the tenants now seem to be families, and the parents do nothing to control their children. Management has tried to control the situation but is berated by the parents for doing so. I would not recommend moving here. And make sure to check the criminal activity you move anywhere by going to the Houston Police Department's website.
