We lived at these apartments for a year. I recommend taking pictures of the carpet and having proof that you are the second residence to live on a piece of carpet here. They will deny that you were the second residence on their carpet and charge you for it upon move out. This is a scam. Lisa sent the bill to the wrong address. It was then forwarded to collections and I had just received the bill once she got the correct address. I contacted Lisa. She was rude and unhelpful, and I quote, "You knew you had to pay the bill." I have never heard of randomly sending money to anyone without a bill. I have contacted SUEBA USA management regarding this issue and will be glad to post back with the outcome good or bad.

Just wondering for my future notice...Did you note that the carpet was "used" when you filled out the move-in checklist?

I do recall that we notified the office of two spots in the carpet from ink of some kind upon moving in and inspecting the apartment. The ink stains in the carpet are how we knew the carpet had been used in that apartment before we moved in.
