This apt is okay. The staff is friendly. The maintenance staff comes quickly and they fix the problem. The grounds are really nice. The price is reasonable, I have paid more for worse in worse neighborhoods.
What I don't like would be the lighting outside. It is cheap and of an ugly orange color which shines in our window. I think they should install solar lighting for safety reasons. When we lost power for 6 days, I was so afraid to even be home after dark. The complex was pitch black and scary. It was not safe to be out at all. Another issue I have is the security gate is always left open. I understand that it needs to be during the day so that new residents can get in to go to the temporary office, but it is unsafe and a huge security risk. I paid $80 for 2 remotes and have never used them! Next the parking seems to be an issue. When we first moved in parking was not an issue, but now a family moved into our complex and they constantly have people staying with them and they have more than 2 cars which takes up about 10 spaces. If you have 10 cars you should own a home. The management needs to regulate parking. I mean they put the warning on the gate that unauthorized cars will be towed, has this really happened'
Another issue would be the hot tub doesn't work and has not worked since who knows when. Lastly the fixtures are really outdated and all of the cabinest are warped and moldy from moisture. If they updated all apartments instead of just a few and charging those people rediculas amounts in rent, they could charge the same amounts and have happy tenants. I shouldn't have to pay $1400 to have nice appliances and granite counter tops. Now we have tile that smells like pee in our bathroom.
If you are going to rent from here, I would do a complete walk through and mark down everything that is wrong so it does not come to bite you in the rear.
I could sit here all night and list problems with this apartment, but again you get what you pay for, in my case $1000 a month.
