Sadly, I found out about this website AFTER I moved to Hidden Lake Apartments. Don't judge a book by its cover...because of the lake, there is somewhat of a "luxury" apt. feel here...which couldn't be further from the truth. I agree with the previous poster---management and staff are friendly and caring at leasing time, but the minute you move in, that goes right out the window. They couldn't be any less concerned about maintenance issues, groundskeeping, etc. The day we came to look at the apt., there was a newly dead squirrel in the middle of the driveway, by which we passed four times! Each time the manager swerve around it and said nothing about the maintenance man walking right past it several times. That little voice in my head alerted me...but I didn't listen. And that about sums up the experience.
Forget getting ANYTHING fixed. Forget management giving a rat's ass...or taking note of you or anything you say UNLESS you happen to put your satellite dish in the wrong place. Then suddenly they care about the grounds and the "look" of the place. Riiiight---just means the owners are due for a visit soon! I absolutely am in awe of the lackadaisical attitude of mgmt. regarding repair requests. Just the other day in the mail "tunnel" the lights were out, and I heard another tenant comment, "Yet another maintenance issue...forget anything getting done about it!" When I nodded in agreement, he continued, "It's not even so much the issues...it's the fact that they completely ignore you!" I was glad to hear someone else speak my thoughts...and now that I've been to this site, I see we are THE MAJORITY. Don't be sucked in by the lake...these apartments, as they are and with the management staff they currently have, SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
