These were supposed to be "luxury" apartments however they have turned out to be quite the opposite. When I first moved in there were many small things in my apartment that I pointed out to management needing repair in my move in check list. They never came around to make these repairs. Now, fast forward to post-Ike and things have just gone way down hill. It took them 2.5 months to even clean up all of the huge trees that had fallen and blocking parking spots. It took them weeks to clean up the shingles that were scattered around the parking lot. To this day, the roofs have still not been repaired. The roof on my building is one of the worst and is still just covered with plastic. Half of my living room wall is missing and there is a hole in the wall between my sons room and the living room. No reduction in rent has been offered. All the meanwhile, the water/trash bill is going further up every month. Neighbors of mine are missing their entire ceilings and walls. Its horrible. Alot of the carpets were flooded and we've been told that they would come in and steam clean them. Never happened. By now its too late anyway, its been 3 mos now. Besides that, as its already been stated by other posters, the management group never seems to be in the office during the hours of operation. They leave early all the time or come in late. It's truly horrendous. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. As soon as my lease is up, I'm out of here! I may even pay the money to break my lease early. I really dont want to live here any longer!!
