So far, So good! I have been living here for about 4 months now. The property is very nice. The maintenance is outstanding and the office staff is friendly. I can't say anything bad at this moment, but if something comes up I will be sure to posted it.

This was obviously typed up by one of the office staff!! lol What about the trash pile that piled up for over a week because Hollister Place failed to pay their bill?? What about the gates that never work? The list goes on and on..There have been many issues before Ike that still remain. Dont get me started!!

I definitely agree that the response came from a staff member. Nice Try!!! i still hate hollister place, the staff sucks, that also includes maintenance. those people need to get real and start making a conscious effort to fix problems as they arise, and care more about the residents. Fix the gate, take care of trash pile up and adhere to office hours!!! under the current management nobody will renew leases. Get Real!!!!

Definitely written up by management/leasing staff. My husband and I have been living here for 1.5 years now and I cannot say we've had a good time of it. Especially after Ike. They are just now getting around to fixing up the apartments. Most of our drywall is gone, so no proper heating during the wintry weather. Management is constantly losing our paperwork, or giving us notices for fees we did not incur (and they have admitted to making those mistakes). If there _is_ a problem, there's no point in seeing them. There is this one particular woman that we absolutely hate dealing with (the taller ------- american with the glasses) because she is horrendously rude and abrupt. The gates were finally fixed right before Ike hit. We finally got a key to the grounds after nine months of living here (and yes, we informed management of this problem several times, always with the assurance that next week they would have it and why weren't we already given one?). I can't complain about the neighbors too much. You get noise anywhere you go (weekends, especially, when people forget that others do still work on saturdays and sundays), but it's not particularly bad. Out of the six exercise machines provided, only 3 of them work. Have they gotten around to actually doing something with the "business" lounge? We try not to venture down to the office, if we can help it. The apartment is not that bad, really. But management makes it a horrible place to live. I've never had to deal with the leasing office staff at any place I've ever lived as much as I've had to deal with them here. Completely incompetent.
