I have lived at this complex since 1999 - wew - 10 yrs..I am glad today I am leaving.
Though the new management is better than the last that is not saying a lot. The word "Luxury" really needs to come off their sign. They have taken all the luxury amenities away long ago. When I moved in there was door to door trash pick up. A working hot tub (a palm has been planted in the tub - since they never fixed it) there used to be nice pool furniture. Saturday mixers by the pool and Sunday brunches in the office and prompt repairs. I have BEGGED for a new gate key and have never received one.Last summer the pool gate was often chained close because maintenance just didn't want to come open it. The office is rarely manned the stated hours of operation and getting maintenance is like birthing an elephant.They have NEVER come to inspect my apart after the apartment upstairs had a plumbing problem and flooded my place- I was left to keep cleaning up the water coming down the wall myself for over 2 hours.
So Long Hollister Place...I'm moving into a REAL Luxury home.
