It is unfortunate that I must fudge some of these answers (for instance, about being a renter, etc.) in order to get this posted and set you straight about the Hospitality Apartments. The Hospitality Apartments, 46 units less than 1 year old and located one mile south of the Medical Center. They offer FREE housing of up to three months per stay for out-of area (50 or so miles from downtown Houston) patients of hospitals in or near the Medical Center. There is one cost: $45 dollars on move-in that pays for professional cleaning at move-out. Phone service would also be another cost (and payable directly to the phone company), if needed.

Though not connected with M. D. Anderson, the hospital offers a free shuttle bus service (runs every 20 minutes or so) between the apartments and the various M. D. Anderson facilities.
