The cheery, glowing review looks like it was written by the office staff. The realities of living here are a little different. I've been here a year this month. My one bedroom is TINY, but I was attracted more to the 10-minute walking commute to my office. It's great. Access control here is so-so. Parking can be a pain in the neck if you have more than one car or if you have guests often. The real problem is the construction that's been going on since I moved in. Right now 2 of the 3 working elevators have been re-done in cheap (grafitti-covered) plywood to serve as freight elevators, and plywood is on the ground in the lobby. It looks horrible and trashy, and everyone that comes over jokes about my ghetto apartment building (including me). The water is shut off daily from 10am to 4pm, like we're in Vietnam or something. And then there's the noise...unrelenting, VERY loud jackhammering and drilling ALL DAY LONG from 7am onwards that the managment refuses to do anything about. It's brutal and makes me want to kill. I was also promised new appliances when I moved in. 12 months and 4 work orders later, and I still have the same old, ugly appliances...including a non-working freezer. And don't get me started on the office staff. If your apartment were on fire they'd ask you to put in a work order. Bottom line, don't move here unless you want misery and hassle.
