I am not really sure what all of the fuss is about. Sure the gym equipment is old, yes the faucet water is gross, yes the air could work better in some parts of the building, yes the parking could be better (more than one space would be nice), and yes the water gets turned off periodically. I am not quite sure what people expect. I mean come on...the building was built in the 1960's. Here is an idea...if you don't like the gym equipment, stop being cheap and get a membership somewhere; instead of faucet water (which is normally gross anywhere you go), buy bottled; if you don't like your car getting broken into, buy a house because it happens at all apartments; the water being turned off happens every so often and it is during the daytime...besides, at least they are working on the water. I personally have never had a problem with maintentance (they have always been prompt) and my air conditioner works fine..in fact my apartment is always really cold. People also complain a lot about the elevators and I think that is ridiculous. The elevators are fine. I have never had to wait very long and again...it is an old building so with that in mind I would say the elevators are fast. As far as the pool goes, it WAS green for less than a week bue to a chemical problem while cleaning. Get over it people. Overall, I am happy there. My apartment is gorgeous, the veiw is awesome, my air works just fine, The conveinence store downstairs is great, everyone that lives in the building is really friendly, I haven't had any problems with maintenance and the majority of the staff is really nice. The only downside is the 1 parking spot in the garage and the fact that you can hear almost anything going on inside of the aparmtents from the hallway due to the thin doors and huge gaps underneath. They are in the process of updating the gym.

Yeah . . . It does sound like management. I live there and it does suck. If you have to preface "it's not that bad" w/ "if you don't mind . . . (an entire paragraph of problems)", then it IS that bad!!
