After much thought, I believe a list will be most effective. So here goes, reasons not to live in the Huntwick: 1. Management will not respond to calls about air conditioner being out in hundred degree weather. 2. After a month of requesting extermination, no response; though they promise to call back everyday. 3. No security on vacant units (and there are a lot!). They are left with windows and doors open, a free place to stay for that nice prostitute in the back parking lot. 4. Standing water left in vacant units. A nice cest pool thriving with larvae from all kinds of creepy crawlies. 5. Dead rats in the parking lot. 6. Cars broken into often. 7. Prostitute doing business out of the back lot. 8. Activities in the front lot such as cracked out men angrily chasing after screaming women with baseball bats. 9. Office will not respond to maintenance requests, but they have the time to inspect all units for general condition. We have been trying to tell you dear Huntwick staff with all our calls, answer those first. 10. Lighting of lots and walkways completely inadequate. Very unsafe feeling. 11. Leasing office irresponsible with payments they recieve. The first four times we gave them money orders they claimed to have lost them. They were with all the other money orders everytime. Do they even look' They make sure to charge the late fees... that they have in good order. 12. Went to pool and found toys, soda cans and trash in the water so I requested cleaning. A month later the pool is green and has scum floating on the top. At least they chained them shut.
do not live here. the price is nice, i have to admit. but if you want to live somewhere that is safe from crime and generally bad public health situations... do not live here. you will find yourself lying awake at night wondering what all the sounds are... who might be in the vacant unit downstairs... what kind of diseases you could get from the rats. not worth it. stay away. i'll let everyone know that i see coming to look at apartments, it would be a sin not to. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
