I have been a resident here for 2 and half years. The staff is the best there is. Any issues are resolved in a very quick manner. There is a certian feel of community here. The crime rate is extremly low. You almost forget you are even living in Houston. The pool area and the laundry facilities are always in prestiene order. Parking has never been an issue. The rates are very fair and moving in is as easy. The location is close to shopping and entertainment and work. Easy access to the freeway. Living here has been the best experiencee I have ever had in an apartment. You truely feel like you are at home. Apartment 307..... THis is a real open and honest review. Feel free to stop by and say hi if you think this is just another add.

I also live there and I wonder if you actually live there or are part of management (the last part mentioning if you think it is just another ad(d) kinda tipped me off that it probalbly is). First off I will say that the staff is very friendly. However the crime rate is attrocious. I have had 3 neighbors move out due to the crime rate (have you not been getting all the notes on your door telling us of yet another armed robbery?). Since moving in almost two years ago I have been notified of 4 armed robberies, two of which were in the section of parking lot near my apartment. The management has responded to this by failing to keep the gates maintained (since the recent change in management the gates have been standing wide open nearly 50% of the time) and by letting us know it is our resposibility to see to our own saftey.

I'd like to respond here as well. I've lived here for 2 1/2 years now and want to say that I feel very safe here. Yes, we've had some crime problems, but I'm wondering if you people have forgotten that "YOU LIVE IN ALIEF!" Considering that fact, this is really a pretty nice and secure complex to live in. Especially when you compare it to the others around here. Alief isn't what it used to be and there is much more crime all around us than some of you must realize. Also, I'm sure that some of the robberies we've had were random, but a few may not have been as random as we've been led to believe by the bits of information we receive. For instance, the notice we received of a robbery in June didn't give a full description of the assailant(s). That leads me to believe that the person who was attacked may have given a sketchy description because it was not as random as they want everyone to think. Either that or there was some other reason that a full description was not given. I don't know? I could be wrong here and really feel bad for anyone who experiences something like that. Not sure if you understand me on this but the description made me think of the Ms Swan character saying "he look - a - like .............A MAN!" are you following me here? The description went something like "tall, thin, and male and ? nothing more. That doesn't give me much to stay alert and aware of when I'm getting out of my vehicle late at night and there are people lurking about now does it? And I don't understand how you can expect anyone to control the actions of another person. The management over here or anywhere else can't control their residents or their visitors actions at any given moment. They do what they can, same as you or I would do. Security gates are nice, but they aren't going to keep anyone out if they want to get in, all they have to do is follow you or me through that gate. Unfortunately drugs are all around us and the people who involve themselves with that sort of thing are around as well. Don't be unrealistic in your expectations and don't expect someone else to be responsible for your safety. Always stay alert and be careful, no matter where you are. Now about the water, trash and now added gas (hot water) bill? I definitely feel ripped off on that one since most of these apartments in my building have several people occupying them, taking showers, washing clothes and running the dishwashers and I'm probably paying the same amounts they pay even though I can't possibly be using as much water as they do or filling the dumpster with as much trash. I don't like that too much, but then who does. It's still cheaper than these new apartments that are springing up all over the place and at least it's relatively quiet over here.
