It has now been almost two weeks since Hurricane Ike hit the Houston area. There are several buildings with major roof damage (one building had part of its roof torn away, exposing the apartment beneath to the elements while the others had their chimneys torn away). La Jolla's answer - tarp too small to cover the holes. The hurricane has also exposed a severe termite problem but I doubt anyone's interested in taking care of it.
And the rain gutters are still laying where they fell.
I certainly don't expect things to be back to normal in two weeks but come on! The ONLY thing La Jolla's management has done is hire a few illegal aliens to pick up the debris.
There are better apartment complexes in the area. Avoid La Jolla like the plague.

Yeah, what's up w/ THAT ??? There are roofs with bare plywood showing & nothing is covered up w/ a tarp !!!!! Thank God is hasn't rained. I see no repairs being made at all....The place looks like a dump...the "projects" over on Clearwood Ave. are in better shape than this place.
