Lakeside Place Apartments

Incompetent Leasing Office From: dreamchasing007 Date posted: 2/18/2008 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   I am currently with another Aimco property and was planning on a coast-to-coast move to Lakeside. I put down my deposit to reserve a unit and passed all the checks. Four days before I was sceduled to move I called to set up a time to fill out the lease and low and behold - I do not have an apartment to move into. They gave 2 apartments that I had deposits on to others and did not think to call and let me know this! I had already planned to switch over all my utilities and called the movers. The leasing office played it off like they didn't know what happened and tried to blame an employee that has since left the property. Its hard to imagine they did not know about me - I had given them a check already! They said they had another unit available that ran for $200 more than what I was willing to pay for a one bedroom and the manager did not work to drop down the price. I say the leasing office is the most imcompetent group I have EVER seen or had the unfortunite pleasure of doing business with. I would not recommend them to anyone, in fact I would warn you to continue looking elsewhere.
