When I first applied to this complex, I was overjoyed with its staff and grounds. I originally lived on the 201 side of the complex. This side was clean, quiet and crime was non-existent. A year ago, I decided to upgrade which meant I had to move to the 301 side of Lakeside Place. Since that time there have been 3 management and office staff changes and it has gone from bad to worse. My car was broken into and the interior was completely destroyed. I would not normally blame the office but I personally reported burnt out lighting in the parking area. That same night two other tenants were robbed. The office's response was to send a note to tenants telling us to be careful. Since my robbery, we have had several robberies and some at gunpoint. Their response is still to send a note. I believe with the amount of rent spent on our apartments, the complex can spare a little change and hire security at the gates. As for the grounds, they are normally free of trash. The problem is all of the dog poo lying around all over the grass and sidewalks. There is always a pungent odor and it is best to just stay inside. I love dogs but I believe that owners need to be held responsible.
