Once my family and I moved in, it was fine, but as time flew by, I started seeing the true colors of this vicinity. I do not mean to downgrade this vicinity, but I care about other families and their children moving into a place like this. I would have loved if someone was to inform me of this vicinity. I have reported many times for maintenance to come by and fix what needs to be fixed. It takes someone at least a month or more for them to give you any kind of attention. Right now my roof has a big leak from all the rain we have been having lately and that to me is an emergency. The pool in this vicinity is green. I was walking to the pool to get in with my daughter and son and it was green. I saw other children there in their bathing suits wanting to get in, but they were just starring at the water with disgust (the little boys thought it was a "cool color").
My children were sad because we had to go back home. Trash is everywhere and rats come around here...something that I really find very unsafe and unsanitary. I just pray that no child gets bitten by a rat. Just a couple weeks ago, a neighbor was robbed during broad daylight. A man approached the woman with her infant and stole her purse and car keys. That is something that I dread every time I step out of my door. Our apartment was so hot to the point that my electricity was over $250.00 (that is how much people pay for an electricity bill for a house). I asked for insulation to be put in and it has been four months that they finally paid any attention to my complaint.
There are other things that I can go into, but I thought it would be right that I mention a few things about this vicinity. My husband and I are moving out this month and hopefully move into a place where you will not be ignored and have a sense of safety for myself and chilren.

The manager has her head in the sand--she doesn't want to know! She doesn't live here, and she does not care about people who do. Her attitude is "well then, why don't you buy a house if you don't like it". Also, all of the reviews of 4 and 5 are obviously written by the manager or another idiot in the office. BELIEVE ME, no one living here would rave about this place because it is a dump! You figure that out very fast after you move in!

You are so right about the manager! I feel very sad that someone like her is running this place. No wonder Lakeside Place is going downhill.

Hey ConcernedInSF: If I were you, I would be a little bit more civilized when it comes down in name calling. This site is specifically to let people express their opinions about Lakeside. That's all. I have the proper equipment to track down your comment and report you to the authorities. Be more respectful.

I hope your not the management because that would be sad ... and I work closely with the internet and how to track things .... so your telling me your company is willing to pay top dollar to find out who responded on this site... instead that money needs to be used to clean up your property

the authorities (police) will not come in the apts.! we call 911 all the time about drugs and disturbances and they never show up.Dont hold your breath! Genger can kiss somthin!
