I use to live in the townhome, which was about 1000 a month and everytime my roommate or I had a problem (which WERE few and far between), they took care of it right away. But when I had to move in March to a one bedroom, that is only 639 a month, so many things have gone wrong. At least one day out of the week either the water gets completely shut off or we have no hot water, the a/c barely works, the garbage disposal is asking messing up, rust in the water (the toilet bowl is constantly orange from it), very low water pressure, and when we take showers, you can forget about getting a constant water temperature. So needless to say they take care of the residents that pay more.

There is NO parking whatsoever. Several times this past week I have seen the tow truck driving around looking for cars to tow. In February, my boyfriend's truck was towed because he was parked in a handicap spot. He was there for maybe 10 mins while he ran inside to grab something. When we came outside his truck was gone, but the shocker was the car in the adjacent handicap spot wasn't tow and it did not have a handicap sticker either. We confronted the "security guard" (which we no longer have) and he was acting completely oblivious to the whole situation and said that he doesn't call the towing company. So my boyfriend called to get the other car towed and the lady asked if he was the security guard. She flat out told us that it is the security guards that call all the time.

Our lease is up at the end of August and they sent us a "special offer" to renew our lease and it was $30 more than what we pay now. They must be out of their damn minds!! You know what their excuse was, so they could be fair to the other residents. Boy, they sure know how to keep residents around. Definitely not renewing my lease!!

How could your ac be acting up when we just got brand new ac's. and the water pressure in your shower being low is because of the water conservation features they put on there. We took off the shower heads they gave us and bought our own with no water regulator. And I know for a fact they have been replacing all the hot water boilers. Maybe you should move, and we could get residents who don't complain. And if you parked in a handicap spot even for 10 minutes, you deserve to be towed. I am a stickers handicap driver, and if I need that spot, believe I would have you towed. Learn to walk, since you are able to!

First off, the review was written BEFORE the new features were put in. Secondly, we weren't mad that we got towed...the fact that the person next to us didn't and the fact the security guard lied, is what we had the problem with. The water pressure is fine now but before it sucked major balls. The a/c works perfect now except for it being extremely loud. Oh and the water still goes from hot to cold even without us touching the thing. And when they came to change everything in our unit, they left indentions in the kitchen floor, took OUR broom, and left nasty brown marks on the doors in our bathroom! So before you start being a smart*** know your facts!!

The fact of the matter is, Lakeside Place Apts. USED TO BE so beautiful and homey and one of the best places to live! Then 2003 came around and it all went to ---- and it's been a downward spiral ever since! I don't live there anymore, used to, but have friends that do still (unfortunately) and the floors are cracked and unstable in their apartment. Their living room looks like a cave without light, although now with this unbearable heat, they are better off! Management has changed hands soooo many times to care about the community. The only people there STILL are the maintenance crew and some are old and tired, the rest is young and new and don't know squat! So where do you go from there? MOVE AND BE HAPPY SOMEWHERE ELSE! :-)

Anyone found a better place in the area that allows dogs? So far I'm seeing a lot worse places.
