Well, I moved into the apartments in January and the people at the leasing office are always different but they share something in common that they are not helpful or understanding to any situation. When I first moved in I thought I had moved into a pretty good apartment which was an older complex not too pretty looking on the outside thats for sure but a good price for the space and inside wasn't so bad. But, over six months later I have had to deal with major parking issues like driving around an hour or more late nights when I came home which led me to not be able to find spots even w/in the gates of the complex so I had to park outfront where tons of residents park and I ended up getting a ticket which was really the apartments fault because they don't have any parking for people who are paying rent. I'm not being picky here I'd take any spot even though this is a large complex. The management office of course didn't care they pretty much said you should just buy a spot. So, I got a covered parking spot and now I am spending $30 a month and all my time having to tow all the people parking in my spot when I come home because there are not signs warning people that you are not supposed to park in covered parking(which is common sense in my opinion). Also, when I first moved in I had a leak that started a few days after I moved in which took about two months to fix and I didn't think they did a very good job. Then Hurricane Ike made even more of a nightmare and the part of my ceiling next to my original leak burst open with the 20 year old looking dirty installation everywhere and it took them about two weeks of complaining to fix this and they fixed it in one day so I'm sure they didn't fix it very well either. My neigbor says he is living in mold and sick now because they have done nothing to fix his apartment. Also, they have construction every where due to the hurricane and half the time they have giant ladders and caution tape blocking me into my own paid for parking spot. I also have wood ants that live in my walls and come out in my built in book cases. I called them about this when I first moved in and gave up. Thats all the bad things I guess if I said anything good it would be that I rarely hear anything from my neighbors they are all nice and quiet. The management office did upgrade some things in the apartment like lighting, the oven and the fridge which was nice. I guess thats about it.

I agree this place is HELL!! They need somebody with common courtesy and a brain. I have small children that have been sick due to the mold in my apartment and still nobody has come to take care of it!

i too have noticed mold growing in my bathroom - and the parking situation has gotten WORSE since the Hurricane - i refuse to pay for a spot (it's the principle of the matter - not the money). my lease ends end of Dec. - I WILL be leaving...

We need to bring this up in like a COMMUNITY type of event. My wife and I have lived here for a couple of yrs, but it has gotten worse each passing day. I dont want to get started, but WE need to do something about this. The leasing office personnel is horrible, I have had my car towed TWO times, i have also had to drive around for a LONG time to find a spot, my car HAS also been blocked in by these workers... Its pretty ridiculous.
