Our lease is up at the end of March, and we're getting the f*** out. In the almost one year that we have lived here, crime has increased dramatically, with only 6 out of at least 25 criminal incidents reported to the residents. Seriously. I checked the crime stats, month to month. How this "non-disclosure" thing is legal, I have no idea.

We have been without hot water, since we moved in, over 15 times. After 15, I stopped counting. This is even after brand new boilers were put in.

Our downstairs neighbor (who walks around the property with no shirt and no shoes, and is home ALL THE TIME) has a video camera inexplicably protruding from his blinds, which is aimed at our staircase. This is very uncomfortable- we feel as if we're being watched. This was reported when we first moved in. The manager AT THE TIME, Cathy, sent him a notice to remove the camera. He did. Then he puts it up and takes it down. Every other day, since we've been here. They even let him renew his lease. Of course, there's a new manager now. Even more callous and uncaring than Cathy. So what's the point''' I have a small child. Who knows what this guy is really doing with his camera' This is unacceptable. I even talked with a police officer, who dismissively said it was a problem for the apartment management, not the police. So back to square one: inaction.

The gates are constantly breaking, and the pedestrian gates are pointless. All the locks on them have been busted or warped so that people can come in and out as they please. So in this instance, boasting a gated property is definitely misleading.

There have been muggings, apartment break-ins, rape, and auto theft- numerous times PER MONTH. Most of these going unreported to the residents. Yes, this bears repeating.

The office staff are worthless. They get paid too much money to be such stupid, incompetent robots. They're condescending, and they will say ANYTHING to get you off the phone or out of the office, the manager included. There are two offices: one which is considered the leasing office, the other for "Resident Relations". If you think they're not very nice in the leasing office, don't even bother with "Resident Relations". IF they deign to speak to you at all, it's with a brusque, "I'm too busy and important to be bothered by the likes of you, please disappear" attitude. I'm not exaggerating at all, people. Read some of the other reviews. Visit for yourself.
We have been lied to and treated dismissively anytime we have had to deal with the office staff. We have never had a complaint against us or a late payment, and I consistently pick up after my dog, all of which is completely inconsequential to them. We are not people living in our home, merely ants in a "unit" to them.

The residents, for the most part, do not think twice about leaving their trash out overnight, all over the place, and the overall demeanor of the people here is, "Get the f*** out of the way, no one matters here but me".

No one picks up after their pets. I have not seen one resident pick up after their pet the entire time we've been here, and I see people walking their dogs all the time. Cats are let to roam around the property, leaving their "messes" all over the place as well.

The only good thing I can honestly say about my experience here is we saved a little bit of money. However, I would rather pay more in rent to feel safer, and feel better taken care of by the people who GET PAID to do this very thing.

We're moving on. Never again will we do business with Aimco.

It might look good on the surface, but the surface is pretty thin, and there's nothing good underneath. lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji

Wow!! A video camera sticking out of the blinds? Yeah, management is CRAP. I can't even get a RECEIPT for money that I didn't authorize them to take. And I was molested by a worker on Thanksgiving. The only good thing about this place is my neighbor who looks out for me. Other than that, I'm with you. Let's blow this popsicle stand! Oh, and parking is B.S. too. I want to give these crackpots extra money & they don't even WANT it.
