The best complex ever

From college to the present, I've rented from 7 different complexes. I have to say, this is the best one so far, even better than the brand new complexes in which I have rented in the area. The apartments themselves are very interesting architecturally with great pluses from apartments with balcony and patio, two-story living rooms with lofts, etc.
The price is great for the location and access to major highways and shopping/entertainment without being too close. The one thing that probably makes the biggest impact is the property manager, Carolyn. She has been at this property for a long time and you can tell she loves her job and living on the property. She is personable, quick to give necessary information, will gladly call maintenance (who are also personable and quick), and even comes to check on you to make sure you're satisfied. The maintenance on the property is consistently good. Valet trash pickup on Mondays and Thursdays!
Drawbacks-a couple of the 2-story units face almost direct west, so the electricity bills can be mind-numbing in the summer, and it is difficult to keep the upstairs cool. We changed units for this reason (Carolyn, again, helped this to happen). Since the change, electriciy bill has not been an issue, nor the heat (even though our unit faces south).
