Not a lot of value for the money

I lived in the Lanesborough for a year from September 2002 - September 2003. At first glance this is a wonderful complex, it looks nice from the outside and the models look okay. It has a great fitness center.
Only after living there did I realize how cheap the apartments are - all the molding is made of particle board and how horrible the management is. I ordered a Dell computer online and it was delivered to the apartment office (trailer) they had it for a week and never notified me. I thought it was a problem with Dell or FedEx! One of my kitchen cabinet doors fell off one time and it took them a month to replace it, when they finally did they replaced it with a mismatched door.
It wasn't my worst apartment experience but I didn't feel that paying $800 per month for 700 sq feet wasn't that good of a deal.
