the construction is very cheap - you can hear your neighbor's every move.

it's next to a big field and we had a great deal of "silverfish" bugs and "rolly-polly's" in our living room - and once a mouse!! the trailer office is very ghetto.

they've been supposedly under construction for years, but nothing is getting finished (supposedly there was going to be an on-site dry cleaners and the leasing office trailer was "temporary" - yeah right!!)
the machines in the work-out facility are always breaking and take forever to get fixed.

other people who don't live there often come to work out and hog the machines.

once the pool turned green and smelly from not being cleaned - it was so gross!! there's one pathetic, dinky trash dumpster for several buildings so you have to walk a half mile to throw your trash away and it often gets overflowed with trash and it is very embarrassing! very poor construction - we could not open one of the drawers in the kitchen without opening the dishwasher first - we were told it was a "design flaw".

the people in the office never answer the phone - you always get the answering service.

the front gate does not have an automatic sensor, so it WILL smash your car if you drive too slow - it actually happened to my boyfriend when he was coming to visit me! live somewhere else - everyone who moves there moves out!
and to top everything off - the Richdale group who owns/manages this community are a bunch of crooks! it is impossible to handle anything because the leasing office is clueless and always tells you to call the Richdale Group which is located in Virginia or somewhere (I don't remember) - but it's long distance and you often have to leave a message.

Our lease renewal didn't come for several months and they actually tried to charge us extra for not signing it on time when in actuality they hadn't sent it to us on time!! We also got the run-around about our deposit - to this day we have not seen a dime of the supposedly refundable portion of our deposit, despite the fact that our apartment was basically immaculate when we moved out.

I hated dealing with them.
