I just renewed my lease. My main reason for renewing is the absolute convenience of its location. I run and it is only 1.5 miles to Rice and then they have a 3 mile track. Also, I am closer than I could ask to the MetroRail which is invaluable. Grocery stores are conveniently located. Anyway, enough. I love the location.

My apartment is nice. Not luxury like they claim but nice. It is the cheapest place in the area with the best location.

Every time that I have called maintenance they have come in a timely fashion and then management calls the following day to see if the problem was fixed.

Parking has never been a problem for me. I get covered parking 80% of the time and it would be 100% if I wasn't lazy and just parked in the garage.

I doubt I'll get any of my deposit back. They had recently cleaned the carpets when I moved it but after a month or so the old stains resurfaced and I am sure that I'll be blamed.

The fitness center is nice but if you are serious about working out it isn't sufficient. I only use it when I need something quick. The pool is nice but the hot tub is never hot (which is frustrating).

Also, I am a medical student and many of my friends live here which I love.

And as people noted before me, security is a sham but at least there is somewhat of a gate.
