Liveable but be aware

I lived here for three years, and I've had my share of complaints but I stayed out of convenience mostly for its location. Being right next to the metrorail is the biggest selling point. If you don't need easy access to the med center, I would consider elsewhere. In general, everything looks better than it actually is (for example, the gym is impressive but half the treadmills are broken at any given time).
Good- good location, nice pool (except for hot tub which doesn't work), nice and efficient maintenance people when they get an order, good parking, gated although security is a joke
Bad- apartment manager can be rude and the office staff seems to change quite often so you may have to call several times for something to get fixed, broken machines in gym, bugs (flying ants and pillbugs for me), A/C differences between rooms, poorly built property, rent increases every year, walls and ceilings are really thin
Never happened to me but have heard from friends- bees in apt, cars broken into, many complaints about manager, plumbing problems
I pretty much agree with all the other review, just seems like it's the luck of the draw how bad your problems are versus how badly you want to live at this location.
